Leaders from the Yazidi community have expressed the need for a dedicated place—a cultural centre, youth space, or temple—to preserve traditions, teach younger generations, and foster community cohesion. This includes space for prayer, celebrations, community education, and healing from past trauma

• The Yazidi community in Australia does not yet have a permanent temple or dedicated religious building for worship or cultural gatherings. Instead, community events and prayer gatherings are currently held in rented halls or shared community spaces because there’s no dedicated structure built for them.
