Yazidi House in Australia Joins Planning for the 2025 International Food and Dance Festival
Coffs Harbour, 19 February 2025 – The Yazidi House in Australia attended a key planning meeting for the upcoming International Food and Dance (IFAD) Festival, held at the Army Church. The event, organized by the Coffs Coast Multicultural Society (CCMS), is set to take place at the Coffs Harbour Showground Pavilion on 29 March 2025.
This multicultural celebration will feature music, dance, and food from diverse communities, including Gumbaynggirr, Indian, Kachin, Zomi, Thai, Malaysian, Yazidi, Iraqi, Congolese, All Nesian, Lebanese, and many more. The Yazidi Iraqi Dancing Group, created by the Yazidi House in Australia, will once again take part to showcase and preserve Yazidi cultural heritage.
The Yazidi House in Australia looks forward to contributing to this vibrant festival, strengthening community ties, and promoting cultural harmony in Coffs Harbour.
